Shakan Global Mission Center Update
The Mission Center before land
was purchased on both sides of
the Shakan Global Mission
Center.
2023 Accomplishments
- Plastering completed
- Metal doors, window frames, security bars, and railings installed.
- Medicinal plants were planted to help prevent malaria and other diseases.
- Broke down the border wall and built a new one at the edge of extended property
- Regraded the land to prevent soil erosion and protect the building
- Prayer Garden layout designed. Flowers and accents will be added
- The week before Christmas, a pastor fasted and prayed for 7 days/nights “to fertilize” the spiritual impact of Shakan Global Mission
- 1/2 acre of land was purchased for the Sustainable Agricultural Training Farm to train local residents to plant crops and raise farm animals organically.
- Workers began to clear and till the land
Purpose of Shakan Gloabl Mission Center
1. Safe accommodations for volunteers serving local organizations for exponential impact. There are over 350 missionaries in Jinja
2. Trainings to develop vocational, social and daily living skills.
3. Bible studies and prayer meetings
4. Networking for divine connections and collaboration for impact in the Kingdom of God.
