✨ What an incredible night at Rockin' for Rosie: Mission Benefit Celebration!! ✨From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who came out to support Shakan Global Mission and be part of such an unforgettable evening. 💛With over 150 people in attendance, the room was filled with energy, generosity, and a shared heart for this mission. It was something truly special to be part of. 🙌To the amazing bands who shared their gifts 🎶, the volunteers who gave their time so generously 🤝, and every single supporter who showed up, encouraged, and gave… you made this night what it was. Truly. 💫Tonight was a beautiful reminder that each person plays a part. Every one of you were the hands and feet of Jesus in action. ✝️Because of your generosity, this mission continues to move forward. Your support is helping bring continued progress to the Shakan Global Mission building site and is making a real, lasting impact in the Uganda community we serve. 🌍❤️And just like the story of the loaves and fishes 🐟🍞, every contribution mattered. Big or small, each gift was multiplied into something far greater than we could do on our own. With heavy hearts, yet deep gratitude for a life lived in service to the Lord, the Board of Directors of Shakan Global Mission shares the passing of our beloved CEO and Founder, Roseann Dennerlein. Rosie went to be with her Savior following a tragic and unexpected car accident on February 26, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, faith, and spiritual dedication that has impacted countless lives.Rosie was truly the heart of Shakan Global Mission. Her unwavering commitment to the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:10 — “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” — shaped the mission and ministry she carried so faithfully. Through her obedience to the Lord’s calling, lives were transformed and communities were strengthened, particularly in Jinja, Uganda.This news has brought deep sadness to many who knew Rosie. She was not only a leader, but also a dear friend and sister in Christ. Rosie was a woman devoted to prayer and a passionate advocate for the vulnerable. Her faith, courage, and compassion touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.While our grief is profound, we are comforted knowing the work Rosie began was rooted in God’s calling. The Board of Directors is working closely with our dedicated teams in both the United States and Uganda to ensure the mission continues to move forward.During this time of mourning and transition, we ask for your continued prayers for Shakan Global Mission, our Board, our staff, and the communities we serve in Uganda.
