Construction Update

The mission of Shakan Global Mission and Shakan Mission Uganda is to nurture Christ-Centered partnerships that foster sustainability for families in Uganda through access to education, agriculture, integrated health and economic empowerment.

We are in the process of constructing a Mission Center with a Guest House to host and accommodate short/long-term missionaries, faith-driven investors, locals, and other guests who wish to come to Uganda for Christian mission work.  Collaborating with local organizations fosters exponential community impact.

The center provides safety with security, well water, home-grown food and a restful place to meditate in the prayer garden.

The Center Includes:

  • 10 large bedrooms. Each has a bathroom and a balcony with spectacular views.
  • 2 family suites with a lounge, kitchen/dining area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
  • Multi-Purpose room for trainings, conferences, bible studies and prayer meetings.
  • A garden to provide nutritious, tasty vegetables for guests and the community.

Shakan Global Mission Center will be a safe, hub for divine connections to exponentially transform communities.
CHANGING DESTINIES FOR CHRIST.

Recent months have focused on safety projects such as covering up retaining wall stones with mortar to prevent snakes from hiding in the Prayer Garden and other parts of the compound. Other projects included installing outdoor lighting, building more retaining walls, and plastering the perimeter wall.

Several people have already had powerful encounters with God in this peace-filled prayer garden.
