Essential Oils for Alertness & Decreased Frustration, Anxiety, and Fatigue

When you think of SUMMER, what do you think of? I think of VACATIONS!   For some, this means a long drive to arrive at the destination. Since preparing and packing can bring fatigue, it’s important to be awake at the wheel. One of God’s solutions to combat weariness at the wheel is … PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL.

In a research study published in the North American Journal of Psychology, administering peppermint during a simulated driving scenario led to increased ratings of alertness and a decrease in frustration, anxiety and fatigue. The study suggested that periodic administration of these odors over prolonged driving may be beneficial in sustaining alertness and reducing highway accidents and fatalities.

Check out testimonies from long distance drivers who used the Oils of Shakan Wise and Awake essential oil roll on. Wise and AwakeWise & Awake Essential Oil Roll-on has peppermint as the main ingredient:

“Long distance driving has always been an issue for me. I get sleepy after an hour or so behind the wheel. On a recent drive to Florida, I applied the Wise and Awake on my wrist so that I could inhale it periodically. It kept me alert and awake so that I was able to drive for long periods of time. Thank you God for all the aromas you provide us.” – Debbie

“Commuting home I was really tired, and even began to fall asleep. I continued to sniff Wise and Awake to awaken my senses, and I arrived home safely. I was glad to have Wise and Awake.

Thanks for the information. I was wondering if you could answer something for me. Do you happen to know if essential oils can be used in a CPAP machine? My wife just ordered some so I’m trying to get some info about them. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

That’s a good question that I do not have expertise in. In doing a quick google search, I saw info that both supported with the use of filters from websites that sell the filters and other info that did not support it i.e. http://www.eocsa.org/blog/oils-in-your-cpap-i-dont-think-so/ I would recommend asking your wife’s doctor. Another alternative is to diffuse the essential oils in the room for 30 minutes before going to sleep. Sleep well!
