Shakan Mission Uganda Ltd is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in August 2022 with Co-Founders, Hannah Nanyange (from Jinja, Uganda) and Rosie Dennerlein (from CT, USA).
Shakan Mission Uganda is working in partnership with Shakan Global Mission (USA Non-Profit) to build a mission center to host short term mission workers, faith driving investors, and locals to collaborate on various projects to transform lives.
The common mission is to nurture Christ-centered partnerships that foster sustainability for families in Uganda through access to education, economic empowerment, integrated health, agriculture and access to education.
The Guest House will employ natives to provide short term missionaries and locals a delightful place to be refreshed as they serve the Lord in the community. Space for trainings and networking will also be provided.
As the Guest House construction is being completed, the leadership team has launched a Child Sponsorship Program, provided school supplies and feminine hygiene products to maximize school performance and attendance. Prayer meetings, bible studies and other outreach activities are also being facilitated as a means of empowering families.
