Transformation Impact

PRAYER + GOD = TRANSFORMATION IMPACT

Prayer is an integral part of Shakan in both Shakan Global Mission (USA) and Shakan Mission Uganda (Uganda-Based) in both sides of the world.

In Uganda, the Shakan Mission Uganda leadership team hosts prayer teams weekly for several hours, and sometimes through the overnight hours.

In the USA, 27 intercessors throughout the country are praying from their homes.

ANSWER TO PRAYER

The headmistress of Kivubuka Primary School was excited to tell the Shakan Mission Uganda leadership team that the KAMPALA ROTARY CLUB offered to INSTALL TOILETS and do RENOVATIONS at the school.  (This school borders the Shakan Global Mission property).

This offer to serve the school was UNSOLICITED.  A Kampala Rotarian noticed the need during a memorial service, and initiated the project.

Knowing that Shakan pours out steadfast prayer for community transformation, the headmistress acknowledged this as a miraculous answer to prayer.  She invited the Director (Hannah Nanyange) and Programs Coordinator (Nicodemus Okecho) to speak at the celebratory event to launch the renovations.

FROM HOPELESS to a HOPEFUL FUTURE
Three of the girls sponsored by Shakan were part of the Dance Performance for the kick-off event for the Kampala Rotary – Kivubuka Primary School Renovation Project.
